There are various methods of gender selection for you to consider if you are hoping to conceive a child of a specific gender. Ranging from invasive methods, through to those which are less reliable, it can often seem like a minefield out there. Cost implications are also to be considered, and techniques offered by clinics can involve lengthy invasive procedures.Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis This is formed as part of in vitro fertilization. (IVF) Couples must therefore go through the normal process of IVF resulting in the formation of embryos in the laboratory. The genetic make up of the embryos …

No, I don't think that evolutionary instinct is a plausible reasoning for promiscuity among males. It's not beneficial to the species to just reproduce. Successful reproduction is when the offspring survive, thrive, and go on to reproduce, also. So, it would seem more plausible that the males that were less promiscuous would be more successful in evolution…because they are more apt to protect the family unit.

We all have temptations to stray in our commitments. The man (or woman) that recognizes this human trait but does not act on it is more successful socially and therefore, biologically. It's all connected.

I have voiced my opinon to a few of my friends about me having Asperger's but they're all saying: oh you're to normal to have Asperger's, like they know excatly what is going on in my head.
The person I show outwards is not the person I am inside. We all put on masks, but I believe people with Asperger's more so, because we want to fit in, but know that if we are ourselves we will seem odd.

You need to call your MD right away and question him about what the term means & why he has NEVER spoken to you about possible ill effects to your body!

There are 2 things I can think of that would pertain to your MD's "diagnosis": That your body has reached a tolerance for a medication and is no longer effective or that it is affecting your blood levels & hormones.

Low thyroid often has as symptoms depression, sleep disturbances, weight gain, etc. as does PCOS PCOS is the most common hormonal problem in women. It can cause complications with cholesterol & insulin resistance.
I don't believe the Elavil or Lexapro are causing your thyroid problem. They can affect your metabolism & for some people cause weight gain.

You are right about Melatonin. It may be good for jet lag, but if you use it long term you MUST keep rotating the dosage ie: Day 1:3mg; Day 2: 1 mg; Day3: 2 mg; Day 4: NONE…otherwise the pineal gland that produces melatonin will stop working on its own.

Make your MD be responsive to you. It is your health. Or get a 2nd opinion with an endocrinologist.

    My best to you.
